Schumann’s House Matcha

We are very humble to introduce an organic ceremonial grade matcha to our Schumann’s House tea selection and we are grateful that our customers continue to enjoy our teas.

As we observe the growing popularity of tea around the world, we often wonder why we did not do this sooner. Nevertheless, we believe this is the perfect moment.

We believe that what matters most in sharing tea is not its outward form, but the spirit it holds at its core.
In moments of quiet reflection on our connection to nature and to others through tea, the words of Sen Sōshitsu XV (Urasenke) have deeply moved us.

Tea soothes the human heart and brings comfort as we think of home and family. The round tea bowl represents the Earth, and the green within it represents nature. It is a true symbol of coexistence with nature, and at the same time, a drink of peace that reflects the connection between people.
True peace is not something far away, but begins right at our feet. Let’s start by cultivating a spirit of harmony in the place closest to us: our homes.
